Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People” – Still as Relevant Today as Ever
I have read Dale Carnegie’s famous book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People” twice in my life; once when in high school at the behest of my dad, and again last year. It’s an easy read and vital to business people of today. I’ve seen too many smart people think they can act like Steve Jobs and get away with it. I have even been bold enough to tell a few of them that they’re nowhere as near as smart as Steve Jobs and thus don’t have the right to act like a total a-hole.
The folks at Mindmeister have been kind enough to boil the whole book down to an infographic. I printed this for everyone at my office today then thought I should share it even more widely. No one ever failed to be happier by following these principles and they apply equally to non-business situations as they do to the workplace.
